Overview
STG Defence is a Ukrainian maker of camouflage equipment. Its main product is a poncho that makes a soldier harder to see with thermal cameras and night-vision devices. Militarnyi describes the fabric as metallized nylon embedded with silver, which reflects infrared radiation. The company says the poncho hides a soldier at about 100 m in a tree line and 250 m in open ground, and keeps working for about two hours before it needs up to ten minutes to cool down. It was developed with the Ministry of Defence’s material-support directorate and shown at Brave1 events in July and September 2025. Oboronka reported in September 2025 that it had passed military trials, tests at the state testing institute, and evaluation by the National Guard and police.
