HIMERA G1 PRO / HIMERA
Overview
HIMERA is a Kyiv maker of low-cost tactical radios, founded in 2022. Its G1 PRO is a handheld radio for secure team communication that uses AES-256 encryption and frequency hopping to stay hard to detect and jam; paired with the B1 repeater, the radios form a mesh-style network. Militarnyi reported in March 2025 that 6,000 radios had been delivered to Ukraine’s military, with output of up to 1,000 a month. A US partner delivered G1 PRO radios to the US Air Force for evaluation in October 2024, and Canada’s Quantropi is adding quantum-resistant encryption. Euromaidan Press reported in October 2025 the company’s first government contract with a European NATO member. In December 2025 HIMERA was reported to have raised more than $2.5 million in a round led by Green Flag Ventures.
