Zvook Network / Zvook
Overview
Zvook (“sound”) builds passive acoustic sensors that listen for drones, cruise missiles and helicopters and, according to its CEO, pass each detection to air-defense situational-awareness software within about 12 seconds. The team began work in 2022 and trains its own AI models on sound signatures. Each station pairs a parabolic antenna with a microcomputer and costs about $500, according to Militarnyi; because it only listens, the company says enemy reconnaissance cannot detect it. The CEO said in 2024 that the network covered about 20,000 square kilometres of Ukraine. In January 2026 Zvook launched NW0, a sensor for FPV drones, including fibre-optic ones. In August 2026 it said it had tested its sensors on a moving vehicle for the first time, during an exercise with Latvia’s armed forces. Google’s Ukraine startup fund selected Zvook in 2025.
