Hunter and Spider / WinFly

Overview

WinFly is a Ukrainian defense-tech company that makes strike drones and several interceptors. Its WinFly 10 Hunter was built to destroy reconnaissance and strike drones such as the Orlan, ZALA, Supercam and Molniya, FPV quadcopters and Mavics; the company gives a climb to 5 km, speeds of up to 160 km/h, a range of over 18 km and up to 25 minutes of flight. Troops began fitting the Hunter with net launchers themselves so that they would not lose the drone with each kill, and in August 2026 WinFly released Spider, a Hunter with an integrated Karakurt-K2 net launcher. The net opens 3–5 m away, covers 3 × 3 m and costs about UAH 1,100 per shot. WinFly also makes the Nexis and Vartovyi Maloho Neba (“Guardian of the Low Sky”) interceptors; according to Defender Media, a Nexis shot down its first Shahed in April 2026.
