Terra A1 / Amazing Drones
Overview
Amazing Drones was founded in 2023 by engineers and military personnel to build interceptor drones. In March 2026 Japan’s Terra Drone Corporation announced a capital and business alliance with the company, described in the press as the first public Japanese investment in a Ukrainian defense company. Together they launched the Terra A1, an electric interceptor for Shahed-type drones with a top speed of 300 km/h and a range of up to 32 km. The Terra A1 has since been deployed in Ukraine and was reported in April 2026 to have intercepted a Shahed in combat. Its longer-range, fixed-wing companion, the Terra A2, is built by WinnyLab, in which Terra Drone has also invested.
