Overview

BABAI is a Ukrainian maker of anti-drone equipment based in Chernivtsi. Its range covers electronic-warfare jammers for vehicles and trenches and a line of drone detectors called Vydun. The Vydun 7.5, presented in March 2026, is a hand-carried detector that scans four bands between 910 and 7,500 MHz at the same time. It warns of approaching FPV drones and shows the drone’s analogue video on a built-in screen, which can be sent to an external monitor. The company gives a detection range of up to 4 km, a weight of 0.9 kg, a 10,000 mAh battery and a price of UAH 35,000. It says its products are used by several Ukrainian brigades; this has not been independently confirmed. Newer Vydun 8.5 and Vydun PRO models are also on sale.
