Spinner / Ailand Systems
Overview
Ailand Systems is a Kyiv-based drone developer, with a second office in Estonia, that builds autonomous drones for finding landmines. CEO Dmytro Titov founded it in 2020 and turned to mine detection after serving as a sapper. Its flagship Spinner flies low over a field and spins as it goes, using a downward-facing camera and two metal-detector coils to map suspected mines, and produces reports in the IMSMA format used by mine-action bodies. dev.ua reported in December 2025, citing the company, that Spinner had received a NATO Stock Number. The company says it delivered systems for humanitarian demining in 2025 and 2026. Ailand is the Ukrainian partner in a UNIDO study on drone mine detection funded by Japan’s METI and led by the Japanese drone maker Prodrone; it showed its product at UMAC 2025 in Tokyo and ran joint field trials with Prodrone in June 2026.
