Shepit / SCOPA Industries

Overview

SCOPA Industries is a Ukrainian aerospace startup building jet engines for drones and missiles. Shepit (“whisper”) is its pulsejet, a very simple jet engine with almost no moving parts, aimed at fast, low-cost strike drones and decoys. It produces 18 kg of thrust, runs on 95-octane petrol and is made of stainless steel from Ukrainian parts, at about $1,000 per engine. Ground tests are complete, and flight tests were in preparation as of December 2025. Separately, the company began producing a jet engine for missiles with a range of up to 250 km in 2025. The US-Ukrainian Oppenheimer Acceleration Fund is an investor.
