Overview
Aerobavovna has built tethered aerostats for Ukraine’s defense forces since 2023. A helium balloon on a cable lifts a radio relay high above the ground, so drones and ground robots keep their link at long range and behind hills; the same platform can carry signals-intelligence sensors. The mobile AB12TC deploys in up to 7 minutes, works at up to 700 m and stays up for up to 3 days without a refill. The company says its systems are used by 50 units and have logged more than 100,000 hours in the air. US-based Pravo Ventures invested in April 2026.
