Overview

Odd Systems is a Kyiv company founded in 2023 that designs and builds thermal and daytime cameras for drones, and also makes FPV drones. Its flagship line is the Kurbas-640 thermal camera. The newest version, Kurbas-640β, was unveiled in March 2026, when the company announced it was ready for serial production; it has a 640×512 sensor, a choice of lenses and preset imaging modes that can be switched in flight. The earlier Kurbas-640 Alpha is in combat use, including on Wild Hornets’ Sting interceptors, and the company says Kurbas cameras go to more than 70 Ukrainian drone makers. Some components, including the sensor, still come from China, its co-founder has said. In October 2026 Odd Systems and its sister company The Fourth Law launched Project Foundation to make thermal sensors in Europe and the United States.
