SkyAgent 001 / Sky Spy

Overview

Sky Spy is a US-Ukrainian company that develops autonomous signals-intelligence (SIGINT) systems. Its SkyAgent payload weighs less than 700 g and mounts on drones to find radio-frequency emitters such as radars, electronic-warfare systems and drone control stations, which have become key targets in the war in Ukraine. According to the company it detects emitters about 5 km away and geolocates them to within 50–75 m, and flying it on a drone extends the range of radio intelligence compared with ground systems. Its modular design lets it be fitted to drones from different manufacturers. In June 2026 Sky Spy and Croatia’s Orqa demonstrated SkyAgent 001 on Orqa’s MRM2-10 FPV drone during NATO’s Spring Storm exercise in Estonia, where it detected and geolocated emitters in the exercise area. In December 2025 the company raised $1.6 million.
