Overview

M-Fly is a Kyiv defense startup, founded in late 2023 out of its founders’ volunteer work, that makes laser guidance systems and gyro-stabilized camera gimbals for drones. It builds the core parts itself, from motors and lenses to cameras and software, and says this keeps Chinese components below 6% while pricing its systems close to Chinese equivalents. Its line includes the RB-150CW and Seeker laser-guided systems, the RB-150GD gimbal with day and thermal channels, and the RB-220 heavy gimbal for large drones, aircraft, helicopters and naval drones, which can also serve as a ground station for air defense. The company says its stabilization has been proven in combat at speeds of up to 350 km/h. In September 2026 MITS Capital, Freedom Fund, Norway’s Gardar and another investor put new money into M-Fly; its founder says the team doubled and revenue grew several times over in the past year. A compact RB-100 gimbal is planned for early 2027.
