Swarmer Platform / Swarmer
Overview
Swarmer was founded in Kyiv in 2023 and builds software, not drones. Its platform has three parts: Swarmer OS on the drone, Swarmer AI for group tactics and Swarmer UI for the operator. The company says one operator can direct up to hundreds of drones and that the software has supported more than 100,000 combat missions in Ukraine since April 2024; no independent count exists. Swarmer listed on Nasdaq in March 2026 under the ticker SWMR, raising about $15 million, and is now headquartered in Austin, Texas, with teams in Ukraine, Poland and Estonia. In May 2026 it signed a deal covering more than 16,000 licenses for SkyKnight drones, and in September 2026 it agreed to buy Ukrainian ground-robot maker Ratel Robotics for up to $224 million, subject to approvals.
