Overview

Kurin Technologies is a privately held Ukrainian maker of multirotor FPV interceptors for shooting down Russian drones near the front. Its main models, the KT-1 and KT-2, are small interceptors aimed at FPV, reconnaissance and other low-flying drones rather than long-range attack drones; according to Terra Drone they reach more than 160 km/h and stay airborne for about 40 minutes. Commercial deliveries began in late April 2026, and production capacity exceeds 1,000 drones a month. In September 2026 Japan’s Terra Drone, through its European arm Terra Defense Europe, acquired 50% of the company for about ¥560 million (around $3.5 million), making Kurin part of its consolidated group. Terra Drone’s CEO said the interceptors have a strong reputation with the units that use them, and that Terra Drone plans to scale up their production. It is the third Ukrainian interceptor maker Terra Drone has backed, after Amazing Drones and WinnyLab.
