Highline-T / Huless
Overview
Huless is a Ukrainian startup that builds tethered drones used as flying antenna masts and signal relays. Its Highline-T draws power through a cable from the ground, so it can stay up for more than four hours, Militarnyi reported in August 2026. A modular mount carries the customer’s own communications or electronic-warfare equipment. An optional fibre-optic line in the tether carries data at up to 1 Gbps, and optical odometry sensors hold the drone steady, which the developer says matters for directional antennas. The kit includes the drone, a winch, a control station and an uninterruptible power unit, and a parachute and backup power are fitted. Militarnyi says the system is in its sixth version and that units can buy it on The Chain platform with e-points. Huless has raised about $1.1 million, including Brave1 grants, according to Resilience Media.
