Algiz-1 / Vigilant Works

Overview

Vigilant Works is a Ukrainian startup building an autonomous system for countering drones, made up of radars, the Algiz-1 interceptor drone and software for radar and visual guidance. According to its CEO, Danylo Korohodskyi, the Algiz-1 has already been through combat trials. It flies at 350 km/h, carries up to 1.2 kg, has day and night cameras, analogue or digital links and its own ground station, and a version capable of up to 450 km/h is being developed, along with a remote-control variant that needs no separate ground station. The company is also developing a radar to fly on a mothership drone alongside interceptors, with its own microwave components designed together with Dutch partners. In July 2026 it raised investment from the Ukrainian venture fund Angel One, which typically writes cheques of $150,000–200,000.
