Solid-State Pack / PAWELL
Overview
PAWELL is a Lviv company that designs and assembles battery packs for military drones and ground robots, from FPV drones to heavy bomber drones and fixed-wing aircraft. Its range includes lithium-ion, LiNMC and what the company calls solid-state packs. The company says the solid-state packs are about 30% lighter than lithium-ion packs of similar capacity, letting a drone fly 30–50% farther with a heavier load, and that its batteries are already in serial use at the front; this has not been independently confirmed. DroneXL reported in April 2026 that a fixed-wing strike drone flew almost 200 km on a PAWELL LiNMC pack. A co-founder told the Kyiv Post in September 2026 that the goal is full production inside Ukraine, although imported components are still used. PAWELL says it holds ISO 9001 certification and has received Brave1 grants.
