Overview

Coalas Tech is a Kyiv company, founded in 2024, that makes radio control links for drones and ground robots. It has released three COALAS::LRS control systems, which it says are built to keep working under enemy electronic warfare. According to the company, its X61.TX transmitter works in two bands at once (580–700 MHz and 1.7–2.1 GHz) at up to 4 W and controls drones at 70 km in normal use. The firm also sells matching receivers, relays and antennas, including versions for ground robots, through its own web shop. In July 2025 it won a USD 30,000 award from the Defence Builder accelerator, which reported that Coalas systems were already installed on more than 10,000 drones. In August 2026 Defender Media listed Coalas Tech among the Ukrainian investments of the British venture platform Grenadyr.
