Blue Eyes / Dropla Tech
Overview
Dropla Tech is a Danish-Ukrainian company founded in 2023 by a Ukrainian chief executive and headquartered in Odense, Denmark. The company says its R&D is in Ukraine; Odense Robotics reports that the mine-detection technology was developed by the team in Ukraine and the GNSS-free georeferencing in Odense. Its flagship, Blue Eyes, is a 2.1 kg computer that connects to a reconnaissance drone’s video feed and uses AI to flag mines, unexploded ordnance and ambush drones, offline and without satellite navigation. The company says it has trained its models for more than two years and was the first in Ukraine to codify such an AI system; this has not been independently confirmed. In August 2025 Dropla raised €2.4 million in a round led by Denmark’s Export and Investment Fund (EIFO) and Maj Invest, and in June 2026 it signed a memorandum with Ukraine’s Frontline Robotics.
