Bavovna AI is a US-Ukrainian developer of navigation and autonomy for unmanned vehicles that must work where satellite navigation is jammed. Its AI Autonomy Kit acts as an alternative source of positioning, navigation and timing, combining a hybrid inertial navigation system with sensor fusion and onboard computing; the company describes its stack as made in America and proven in Ukraine. It works on aerial, surface and underwater drones, and the company also makes a wind sensor, a mission-control station and a coastal drone boat. In 2023 it became the first Ukrainian startup in the US Air Force Labs MassChallenge programme. In November 2024 it raised a $2.7 million seed round led by Prague’s Presto Tech Horizons. In October 2026, at the AUSA exhibition in Washington, it signed an agreement with Excalibur International, part of the Czech defense group CSG, to bring its technology to customers abroad.
