Air Baby / Strix Air

Overview

Strix Air is a Ukrainian drone maker headed by its founder, Eduard Baev. It builds strike, bomber and fibre-optic FPV drones, relays, ground stations and upgrade kits for older drones. Its flagship, Air Baby, is an interceptor designed to destroy Shahed-type attack drones. Militarnyi reported in March 2026 that serial production had started and that Ukrainian units were already using it; Baev said the drone had made its first combat shootdowns that month. The reported figures are a top speed of 280 km/h, an altitude of up to 5,000 m and a 500 g warhead. Control uses two frequencies with anti-jamming video switching, and the company supplies its own ground station and repeater. Air Baby is listed on the Brave1 Market at UAH 36,000–58,000; the company says it costs 30% less than comparable interceptors.
