UNITS Simulators / L7 Simulators

Overview

L7 Simulators is a Kyiv company that builds laser- and VR-based training simulators for Ukraine’s armed forces, National Guard and other security forces. Its UNITS system combines weapon mock-ups, laser modules, infrared cameras and VR headsets, and the company says it covers more than 50 weapon types. Newer modules address drone warfare: Dronobiy trains soldiers to shoot down FPV drones with a mock shotgun in VR, and Ukrainska Pravda showed soldiers training with it in March 2026. Vartovyi trains interceptor-drone crews against Shahed-type targets; an L7 manager told Janes in June 2026 that Ukraine’s Air Force had received it. The company says the Ministry of Defence codified UNITS in November 2024. Its founder estimates that about 100,000 people have trained on its systems since 2022.
