Ratel H / Ratel Robotics

Overview

Ratel Robotics has built ground robots for Ukraine’s defense forces since 2023. Its range runs from the small Ratel S, a one-way attack and remote mine-laying robot, through the Ratel M logistics robot to the Ratel H, a one-tonne wheeled platform that carries up to 400 kg and evacuates wounded soldiers. Oboronka reported in September 2026 that one Ratel H served with a unit for almost a year and survived three FPV drone hits. A version that launches fibre-optic FPV drones is in testing, and a 12.7 mm turret is being integrated with Danish partners. The company says it built more than 1,000 systems in 2025. On 10 September 2026 Nasdaq-listed Swarmer agreed to buy Ratel for up to $224 million in cash and stock, depending on earn-out targets; the deal still needs regulatory and shareholder approval.
