MINOTAUR / SKYRIPER

Overview

SKYRIPER is a Ukrainian developer and serial maker of codified unmanned systems, with its own electronics production, maintenance and crew training. In September 2026 it began serial production of MINOTAUR, a heavy 15-inch FPV drone for attacking armoured vehicles and fortifications, after the first batch was tested in combat. Unlike most FPV drones, MINOTAUR is controlled over 3G/4G (UMTS/LTE) networks, so crews can operate it from anywhere; it switches dynamically between a wide range of military mobile frequencies to make it harder to detect and jam. If the link is lost, it continues in autonomous mode until the connection returns, and it keeps its antennas upright during manoeuvres. Its maximum take-off weight is 14 kg, its payload 2–5.5 kg and its stated range up to 25 km. It can also work in joint missions with ground robots. The drone costs about UAH 84,000.
