Katran X1.2 / MAC HUB

Overview

MAC HUB is a Kyiv company in the Brave1 cluster that builds the Katran family of unmanned boats. The Katran X1.2 is a 9-metre, 350-horsepower boat with a stated range of up to 1,600 km. Unlike single-use attack boats, it is designed as a reusable carrier: in one configuration it launches 27 MAC Dead Fly interceptor drones to hunt Shahed-type drones over rivers and the sea, where ground-based air defense is thin. Other loads include FPV strike drones or two R-73 air-to-air missiles. The boat was shown in trials on the Dnipro River in May 2026 and has reportedly been used in operations since autumn 2025.
