KARA / Ukrskytechnology
Overview
Ukrskytechnology LLC is a Ukrainian maker of the KARA, a catapult-launched fixed-wing drone that, depending on its equipment, drops cargo, works as a communications relay, carries FPV drones behind enemy lines or flies strike missions. According to the manufacturer it has a 70 km tactical radius and 2.5 hours of endurance, cruises at 90 km/h with a top speed of 120 km/h, and works at about 200 m with a ceiling of 3,000 m. It can use an electric motor or an internal combustion engine and carries two payloads of up to 3 kg each under the wing centre section. Preparation takes 10 minutes, and it lands like a conventional aircraft. KARA comes as a bare airframe, a partly equipped Plug-N-Play version or a fully equipped Ready-To-Fly version. It is listed on the Brave1 Market at UAH 440,000 and is going through codification.
