Furia / Athlon Avia
Overview
Athlon Avia is a Ukrainian maker of tactical reconnaissance drones. Militarnyi reports that it has built the Furia since 2014 and produced more than 100 systems in different versions. Furia is a small fixed-wing drone used to find targets and adjust artillery fire. The manufacturer cites a cruising speed of 65 km/h and a range of up to 200 km. A kit includes three aircraft, five optical modules (including night thermal), a ground station, an antenna and spares. In 2024 the company presented an enlarged Furia A2-C with almost six hours of endurance. The manufacturer said in September 2024 that a Furia survived a hit from a Russian FPV drone and was repaired in the field. In July 2026 the European Commission named Athlon Avia a founding member of the EU–Ukraine Drone Alliance.
